Block Island-Slips or Rafting?

What's the story at Champlin's this year? Last time I was told slips and we all got rafted. No power, no water (both too far away), and Alpine climbing to get on or off the dock at low tide. All for the price of a slip. The company was fabulous, but the facilities left much to be desired. I don't have a Genset, would have to board my dog, (maybe even my wife). Unfortunately I have developed a bad hip that's not condusive to jumping between boats and climbing on and off docks until it's replaced. If it's rafting, I need to know before we commit to the weekend. Otherwise I'll have to make it a day trip. My experiences with Champlin's have been that they don't do what they say to individuals. Maybe as a group we have more clout. I hope so.
