Yeah, that caught my eye too, 10,000rpm.

At that rpm hearing a whine can also be the cutless. Bad alignment or a petroleum base product could have swelled the bearing. Both will make that sound.

My 1st guess, as you pulled a pot with the shafts and the strut is bent, or not lined up proplerly to the shaft. A visual check can usually answer this quickly. Look fore and aft at the strut bearing and shaft. The shaft should be sitting at 6:00. If you see compressed rubber at one end and a gap at opposite side, that's most likley your problem. With this conditon it is still possible to line up the engine and shaft coupling.

Good new if your lazy it will usually wear in and stop squealling. Although it not correct and will prematurely wear the bearing.
