Need SE Mass. Shaft/Strut Pro

Last year I had my port shaft replaced along with the prop. Also has some strut damage (picked up a lobster pot line). Strut was pushed up so as to indent the hull. Long story short, repair work left me less than secure and although I see with the naked eye that the shaft is true (as seen thru the cockpit floor),
I am getting some vibration (feel it at the wheel). I physically watched the yard finally get the tolerances correct at the engine connection but I have my suspicions about rest of the drive. I also get a subtle whining (no, not my girlfriend) at about 8-10,000 rpms. So how much vibration (and I know this is subjective) is acceptable? Also, is there anything I can look or feel for that might give me any clues? And who has a recommendation for a B31 pro in my area who can give everything the once over. I'm on the south side of Cape Cod in Osterville. Oyster Harbors Marine is not an option. Newport? Marion? Pocasset?
Thanks in advance.
