Carl: I'll be interested to hear the response as I too have 330HP 440's. Mine have the factory electronic ignitions, which haven't given me any trouble so far. I was also looking at Jacobs ignitions. I replaced my coils several years ago with Accel Super coils, but I didn't have a Flowscan until this year so I don't know if there was any increase in performance. I do know from experience on a friend's high performance boat that the MSD boxes can die unexpectedly and without warning. He carries a backup now. Rawleigh
