MSD Ignition

Seem like I have the 440's running decent and while still in the "fix it, upgrade mode" I was thinking of knocking the MSD Ignition off my "To Do List".

Bruce mentioned better economy, better spark. Which is great, but does anyone have a ballpark figure as to what I might expect to see? Also, how are they wired in, anything to look for in the installation and any down side to the units, besides cost.

My biggest problem in the past has been fouled plugs when trolling too much, which was dealt with several years ago with the NGK-V Power Spark Plugs.

I did upgrade the coils two years back, and got maybe a 1/2 gal an hour increase, but definitely better starting, especially when the engine was hot.

Thanks,
