Thanks, Phil. Well, since there is an in-line electric pump in the genset line between the tank and Racor, we can pressurize the Racor and the line from the Racor to the mechanical lift pump by the injector pump. We get clean fuel out of the bleed screw at the injector pump, but no fuel at the injectors. This is with the mains shut down.

Another hint is that whith the genset not running for a day, the port main started instantly the rest of the week. The two problems seem logically to be related to an air leak on the suply side, but why no fuel out the injectors with the electric pump putting clean fuel out of the bleed screw? Yes, the run solenoid is fully opening too. Dhhhhhhhh?
