faithful-

Outstanding week of great people that I could really relate to! Just talked about boats and fishing. The food was as good as it gets. Matt made a fantastic lasagna that knocked everyones socks off. Everyone was very knowledgeable on fishing tactics and I really learned alot. Sorry that we weren't around a couple of nights as we were in hot pursuit of the tuna. We got a window in the weather for our cruise back to Texas and took it. I'm sorry that we weren't around to say good bye to all of the guys but we really enjoyed all of the gang. UV, you told me that you would invite me back next year as long as I didn't fall off the dock. Well, I didn't fall in, but there was that terrible mahi bite on the ankle. Still walking with a limp, but after you poured the Crown Royal anesthesia and forced me to drink it, Matt did his magic with the scapel and somehow got my alkalis tendon back together. I know that I still have a $1900 tab for the procedure, and that includes the $1000 for UV it's his tournament and he feels like he would like $1000 just because. I'm not one to bitch, so what the hell. The harbor master and his crew were real good people and we had a good time learning about their lives. Thank you very much UV for your hospitality and we had a blast shooting the bull with you. Capt. Patrick, thanks for the pointers on fishing with ballyhoos and we're real happy that you went out with us. Have been eating tuna and mahi since yesterday and I'm glad we were able to bring a full cooler back with us. We found a better way to return home. We cruised down to Venice then out of Tiger Pass straight over to Galveston and down the ICW to Freeport. No stops, just no messing around. Thanks again to everyone that showed up and thanks again to UV for putting it all together.

John, Trey and Mike.
