The blue hit a Lumo Sprocket. The second blue of the day hit Matt's homemade "Lil Addy". This little bait packs a punch as we hooked and lost 2 blues on this bait...smallish hooks I think.

Thanks again UV, hard to believe you/we have five UVIs under our belt. Seems like a short time ago I backed in at Port Eads with the Geaux Deep to meet most of you all for the first time. This is always the high point of my fishing season and those who have attended need no explanation as to why. I really enjoyed seeing you all again and just sitting back and watching the whole thing unfold. The tally for the week of 5 blues from our little fleet is an alltime high. Congratulations to all the teams that bagged a blue and especially to Randall for his first. We gonna make a fisherman out of that surfer dude yet and I think he has secured a spot in the Pipe Dream tower for next year. Matt and Andre, thanks for having me on your boats...I had a great time.

Special thanks to Tiger Sutton, Mike and Gibby for the great accomodations. Hollis ended the UVI5 in fine fashion for those hearty souls who waited it out late Friday night with renditions of "Redneck Romance" and "If it Flys, Floats or $%&#s".
