If you are going to anodize, (which is what I would do) don't sand blast the frames, it will also cause problems if you have to do any weld repair work. I think the prefered clean up for anodizing is an acid bath or wash. I know that sounds bad, but the anodizing shop will do it and it's not the much cash. The labor/expencive part is the prefinishing/sanding/filling before it gets recoated. I haven't had it done yet, but have been looking into it pretty heavy, I wish I had a spare set in good shape to pre-work for a quick changeout. I know not all the windows are exactly alike, but in a fiberglass setting it can be made to fit.
