Chris,

If your refering to installing a Nitrile impeller Depco Pump company does not recomend them for water. They are meant for oil but will work for water at a lower water volume but higher pressure because of the stiffer blades. I tried them in my Volvos and I got no better life out of them and believe me if you have worn cams they blow just like neopreme ones do. Dave K
