Went down late Sun. afternoon. Great turnout for UVI.Dinner, party,stories great as expected. However my crew on "Targeted Species" couldn't wait til Mon. morning, so we headed out for Thunderhorse as it was getting dark Sun. night. . LOTS of bait ,so we decided to pull there Mon morning. At 6:30 a 350lb Blue hit a UV special black and orange Moldcraft. 4 hours later we pulled the dead fish into the boat. It was hooked in the back. The crew at Port Eads made us feel better,as we had the only Blue on a 31 that day. Of corse we were dq'd for leaving early. Rest of gang had dolphin and wahoo,but not many. Vic,s friend Scott Avenzino's 9 yr. old son also had a Blue,but they were on Scott's boat(not a 31).Bet they were dq'd,also.Great weather for the week,but I had to work a few days.Headed back Fri. for finale.Sorry for you who couldn't make it,but will post any reports I get.
