Ken... thanks for the thought. I'll check this weekend. I was noticing a light "oily" substance towards the rear of the engine block, but thought I was dripping some oil from my valve gaskets. It's been light... nothing pooling up.

Given that when I filled the tranny back up with fluid and it performed well at idle speed in both forward and reverse, do you think I did any damage? I plan on idling around my marina/bay this weekend and checking levels repeatedly to see if I'm loosing fluid quickly. If all goes well, I'll run it hard for a few minutes and then check.

Any ideas on where to buy hose/gasket and/or cooler replacement parts?
