Thats an interesting question. Keep in mind the bags of shot have a footprint of around 12"x8" so the weight is somewhat spread out. I would also think that there is a big difference between having 300 pounds weighing down a 24 inch square area and the entire weight of the 31 hull weighing down on a few small rollers or bunks. If anyone in the know, like Pat or UV, is reading this PLEASE chime in. The last thing I want to do is hurt my hull. Maybe I should lay something under the bags to distribute the weight over a larger surface area, or would this be a waste of time.
