One more thing to consider, adding weight. I have added 1000 lbs to her, some in the bow and some under each engine and it really makes a huge difference in the ride. My mate took notice the first trip after I did it and I never told him what I had done up to that point. Never lost any speed and my fuel burn is the same. I am going to add another 150 under each engine next week. Some have told me to just slow down, but I like to be able to run 18 to 20 knots in a 3' head sea without pounding and shuttering my boat. Before I couldn't but now I am able to.
