Thanks Patrick. Transom gap is not much, an inch or so but on the sides about 3" in some spots. Foam will work with 5200 I guess since I can't fill a 2" or 3" gap with 5200 unless I use Sintra board but that is too light. I'll figure something out but it will not show that's the good part. Nothing I could have done in regards to the access hatch for the fuel sender. It missed as previous stewart put the 220 gal tank all the way to the step by the walkway and that is where the sending unit plate was. Oh well I'll figure something out for this too. Coming along fast now. I just get a little antsie when someone else is working on the boat whom I know has an excellant reputation but when you have never used them, you know what I mean. They are very insistant on me being there just about on every step of the process which I like. No room for error with the Nidacore either. Man really nice stuff that preglassed panels I got. 2 @4 X 10 sheets (3/4 " closed cell)and 1 @ 4 X 8 3/4" closed cell sheet for the boxes and I'll have some left over. Between the bulkhead and this it must be 500 hours of my own time already as this is my first time doing this. Nature of boats is they are all similar but all different.Even our 31's. At least she went on a permanent diet with the new composite materials.
Oh yes. The 2 X 2 fiberglass tubing is amazingly strong when assembled. No give and the joints aren't glassed yet. Now I'm comfortable as I never seen that stuff used before. Light too.
