Buy a lot of spare belts. The Yannies are famous for having a bad v-belt angle and eat them up. Like my Volvos did on the old B25, same deal. Or better yet, repower with Cummins B's that use the flat serpentine belt and change them every 2,000 hours.

You might want to wire brush the pullys, prime and paint them and it will help some, but belt wear is one of the Yanny's downsides, but hey, belts are cheap. You guys still planning to run straight to Port Eads? Weather looks good for it.
