I bought my bearings at a local bearing store for about $20.00 each. Just use a lot of HD Corrosion X and it'll last for years and years. As far as a rudder shelf is concerned. I don't have one . I just had the machine shop make me a big U shelf arrangement to hold the bearings on top. I had to use regular steel but used epoxy primer and top coat. Now just a lot of HD Corrosion X and it shines.Like butter with the Corrosion X. As far as High Tide is concerned good products but too steep for me to justify. MacMaster Carr are an example of good old fashioned service at a fair price.Got all my 2 X 2 Fiberglass tubing for the cockpit deck supports from them in 2 days time in Florida. Dave K
