Rod,

I don't know much about the Yanmar vs. Volvo diesel, I just know that Mecrury marine will not even warranty the bravo III if it is behinf the 6 cylinder yanmar. It just doesn't hold up!!!

Now if you hav eunlimited funds... go for the yannie with the volvo outdrive!
