Cummins 6BTA 270's with gears on ebay

There are a pair, alleged new in crates, with TD 1.5 gears on ebay with current price at 21K. Look new in the pics. These are some of the last mechanical controlled engines that will be out there new. I estimate the value of these engines and gears at about 42K, so somebody's gonna get a deal here. Ends in a day or so. If I had a place to keep them, I'd make a run at them. But on the other hand, my 1989 6BTA's only have a couple of thousand hours on them, so they are just youngsters. The 270's on ebay are the same as my 250's - just some messing with ratings - and seem to have proved themselves as the most reliable 6B's (like the 210's) and are a perfect very long term repower for the B31. Make her a true 25 kt. cruise boat at about 17 GPH total.
