I've noticed the resale numbers used have been 50K for gas and 75k for diesel. Does this assume the boats are probably scheduled for a redo in the not so distant future or does this assume they are pretty much pristine and with recent upgrades such as wiring, thru-hulls, deck sub-structure, etc... I'm hoping that mine is worth a bit more than 50k when we finish. It'll have pretty much been completely redone with exception of the cabin and v-berth. New decks, engine boxes, all new wiring, bottom completely redone, thru-hulls, steering, etc... The only thing we haven't done is repower, paint the exterior, and replace windows. I've seen a bunch of gassers and deisels alike going for 75-150k (with deisels going for 25-60k more on average). Are those guys selling or just testing the market? Just curious as to about where a survey should come in before we splash. Thanks for your input.
