Nice numbers justification Capt. Patrick, but consider this, on an average trip I burn about 80 gal. @ about $2.30 a gal., which I split with my 3-4 fish/dive buddies 80 x 2.30=$184 / 4=$46 my share. While I do want diesels, even your numbers will have a hard time with the break even looking at it that way. But I'm sure my buddies would love the money I save them!
