Capt. Frank . They also told me I need new Lee Outriggers and that mine were old. well they found and sold me the part to fix mine. I can't see what they are talking about as the bottom pole piece is stainless steel. It is telescoped to the top two sections of aluminum via a plastic insulator.I do have one that got bent by the former stewart. They tell me that can happen with a very big fish. Must of been a big Blue since the boat came from Vic's end of the Gulf.These Sr.'s last a very long time. Look good too with simple lines without the spreaders. Just maybe not as strong without the spreaders.I'm keeping mine for quite a while yet.At least that's the plan. Dave K
