Guys, the phone is fine, never worked better. In fact, was showing it off to my sidekick Snow a little while ago, same phone, we got them at the same time, and his screen was way feded out and doing funny things. Well, I said, "watch this" and did the deed. 15 minutes later, it worked like new. The 'creepy-ness' of it vs. any other penetrant/lubricant is simply amazing. It may take a day or two to get in there, but it will get there and dissolve any corrosion, period.
I keep a hand towel soaked in it (bought a gallon bulk a few years ago, probably last a lifetime) and keep the rag in a gallon zip-lock. Wipe down the tower, the rails, the chairs, outriggers, radio antenna bases, cleats, etc and it all looks like new, and for months. The aerosol is best for shooting electronics and electrical, just because you can pinpoint it with the little tube and don't get it all over the place. Repeating myself for the um-teenth time, da Judge, a/k/a The Prince of Potions, and an aviator, put us on this stuff about 5 years ago, and if I'd had it 30 years ago, I would have saved zillions of units of time, patience, and money.
The secret to its magic is the thin film technology that allows it to creep into the pores of the metal.
