mahogany glue-ups

Hi All,

I'm turning my B25 into a center console and I'm in the process of putting together the helm. I have built the helm out of 3/4" sapele and am looking to cover the exposed laminate edges with some solid stock mahogany. I've purchased 4/4 mahogany and was going to cut it into 1" and 34" strips and joint the edges and then glue it up with west system and a lot of clamps.

so my questions:
Is epoxy the way to go? or should I use gorilla glue or a resourcinal (sp?)

If epoxy, just the resin in the joint or should I add wood flour?

Thanks in advance for your help.
