Well, sure there is a chance they will break under the wrong conditions, but I've seen many more streader stiffened rigger poles break than the nakked ones like I use. If you pull the poles off and worry about capping off the holders, don't bother, they have two holes at the bottom to let water out.

And my good friend Walter K will be fishing on Another Joy in just two weeks, hunting the big blue suit. Walter - me & the Bride have the menu worked out for you, the Prof, Randall & Patrick at the camp on Sat. Lunch is gonna be boudin rouge and grilled veggies (maybe some marinated crab claws too) and dinner is gonna be crawfish a-two-fay with sides. Breakfast before we shove off from the camp for Venice and Port Eads Sunday morning will be some super pastry stuff from the local coonass bakery, washed down with local Community coffee and maybe a Bud as a chaser. Shoooooot - can't wait to see you guys, and everyone else for the UVI. You live, you die. . . . .
