At this point they are just window dressing so I'd like to get them looking good is all.

In a heavy chop they sure bend alot, is there any chance of them breaking? The reason I ask is the spreaders are pretty much right above the aft quarters, if they ever broke they'd brain whoever was sitting there. I became somewhat less worried when I plucked one out and felt how light they are.

If I decide to store them is there some sort of cap available for the bases?
