I am unfamiliar with recent "Oceans" but a few years back they hauled a brand new one at my Marina so that the owner could show the factory people, who were there, the many problems[all kinds] with the brand new boat. On the wiring end of things the factory had stapled[gun] the wires to plywood backing[which they had exposed] and many staples ended up going right through the wires. There was no bus in the bridge, they had bared a heavy gage wire and wrapped takeoff wires to it and then wrapped with regular elect.tape. If I hadn't seen it myself I wouldn't have believed it. The owner seemed rightfully incensed, however several years later I saw an advertisment in a major fishing magazine with this very owner bragging about what a wonderful boat an Ocean is and this new one was his 4th. Ocean has earned their reputation.
