I also think it's a beautiful boat, and I don't doubt their version of a "cored" hull is a good one - not an under-the-sea-ray or blubliner type. Sportfishing and Marlin don't do "boat tests", as editor of SF Doug Olander put it to me, but "boat reviews". He figures since they are being paid to run the piece, he has to admit it's just a little biased. On the other hand, they won't run anything on a really bad boat. I've met Dean Travis Clark, and he knows boats. He's also a B31 fan from way back, and once told me of running one from Cuba to Florida in 12 foot seas. He said he was scared to death, and wet, but the boat did fine. He was giving the Liberty high praise by comparing it to our celebrated 31's. Like UV, the price tag would keep me from owning one (unlike UV, however, I really couldn't afford it!).
