Interesting idea, but will it do it with water rushing in, or only after the boat has sunk and the watert pressure has stabilized? UV's idea is good, and I have seen collision blankets marketed with straps to go around the boat. The old sailors used to rig a sail under the boat to stem the flow of water. Rawleigh
