Rigging baits for victory

Well now that I have the crap Pep Boys battery charged up enough to kick over the 21KW, I'm back to more important things. Like rigging 4 new UV special Wide Range Soft Heads, 12", black & orange. First new ones I've got in years, since I have about 40 already rigged. These new ones have holographic eyes, that's interesting.
Like I've already warned the Faithful, AJ will only fish for big blue suits at the UVI, so rigged new UV Special baits. I decided to go back to my old time way of rigging them. The new way was to use 600# stainless cable for the drop back hook connector, then use heat shrink to attach the cable to the front hook, which resulted in a semi-stiff rig.
This made for a very long lasting rig, but the stiffness I don't like vs. the old way of using mono for the drop back hook connector and just taping the drop back to the front hook.
So I have rigged the 4 new UV Specials with 330# Momoi flourocarbon leader, 15', using the same for the drop back hook leader, and taped the drop back to the front hook using red elect. tape. Used the usual Mustad 7732 stainless 11/0 hooks in a 180 degree rig, with the back hook bend just at the end of the skirt.
These will be pulled behind AJ till the cows come home, and I know she will emerge victorious.
Men, this stuff is fun.
