Jeff,

You should be able to get a the local police authority to acknoledge that the boat is not stolen and you can start from scratch.

Getting my two bertrams titled proved to be interesting.

My Bertram 25 was never titled in the state of Michigan (where it lived it's entire life prior to me...) because it was grandfathered into only needing to be registered. After several phone calls to the Michigan state government, we got things squared away.
