Back from the camp and had an email from Tony Athens of Seaboard Marine in CA that he had shipped my new & improved aftermarket imepllers for the 15000 series Sherwood pumps & should get them tomorrow. These fit the 6B 210, 250 & I think the 270. He also has the ones to fit the 17000 series used on the higher hp 6B's, and the Cats. So they are now available, just order them from Tony, tony@sbmar.com, and tell him Uncle Vic sent you. The guy has done a tremendous job taking the bull by the horns and designing and securing the manufacture of a superior product to replace a crappy one by Sherwood. His are made of a synthetic neoprene that petroulem products won't affect, so you can use regular grease to install them vs. silicone or Pam. Mine will go in this week and that's the last thing on the pre-UVI list for AJ. She's ready to show ya'll the way to victory.
