Walter: When I had my starting problems from my "worn out ""low hour engines"I was told all kinds of things to check,

Two of them that seems to relate to your problem,
1)is the return line going back into the tank ,below the fuellevel.
2)Also there is a check valve in the fitting coming out of the front of the injection pump .Look there to insure one way flow.
