Congrats Jon, I just picked up my six pack license today in New York. I began the process with the USCG on January 25, 2005.
My drug test had expired ( 6 months)so I had to retest. That probably cost me two weeks.
From what I hear, New York in the slowest.
One contributor noted awhile back that you should not put on reading glasses to review documentation, if your eye test says 20-20.
He had to go and produce 2 pair of glasses. It was then duly noted on his license.
