Just read a short article in Power and Motoryacht about it. Volvo claims if it was a conventional drive the damage would have been worse. But Volvo is looking at the fact that the drives did not break loose. Seems to me if it was a conventional drive, maybe the props and shafts would have been damaged but I bet the occupants of the boat would not have gotten hurt as bad. Sounds like when the drives hit the boat came to a sudden stop.
