Also guys on this same subject. The tank manufacturer (Nautic Marine Welding -Ft. Lauderdale) indicated some folks make a big mistake and use caustic chemicals like muratic acid to clean there deck with. Well you know where the acid or other highly corrosive chemical ends up. Yep, right on top of a metal fuel tank therefore a hole results in a short time later.So don't clean your deck with harsh chemicals or your metal fuel tank will suffer regardless of method used for securing. I used David Pascoe's method with 1/4" PVC strips as Patrick suggested. Like Gibralter now and it will come out pretty easy on the vertical pull. Dave K
