In the wonderful world of boats there is no such thing as perfection, but in the 30 foot class, the 31 foot Bertram is about as close as you can get. Unless you're fishing on a millpond any deep V will rock a bit, but the tradeoffs are well worth it. You'll get back no matter what the weather. Best boat in the world in a following sea, biggest cockpit in it's class, simple maintenance and easy engine accessability without taking your boat apart.
