Depends on the model. There are seven different configurations. All aerodynamics and aquadynamics predicated on weather you have a bridge , how high the tower is , Canvas overhead etc. I drift fish often and have a FBC model with a Tuna tower and overhead cockpit canvas and do fine with a sea anchor. I like anchoring however right over them or on the side of heavier structure.So they handle real well regardless of model if you use a sea anchor. Welcome and good luck. Dave K
