Rewire alt current/shore power

I want to rewire the AC system on my 31. I believe it is the old 20AMP 110V service with two 15 AMP breakers. I'd like to upgrade to 30 AMP so that I can add an A/C unit in the future. I'm just wondering whether I need any special marine grade wire to do the job right. Thanks, Stan
