Just to clarify... If you have a small part such as hatch that you can work on in a shop get the shop temp down around 63 degrees and you can mess with the stuff for a long time. Then turn the heat on (or the a/c off) and let things warm up to 70 or so and you will get a "Normal" cure time.

If you are working on the hull or other large assemblies that require that you be in an unheated/un-cooled shed or even outdoors you can accomplish a lot by working with Mother Nature.

Do your resin work in the cool morning hours before things heat up, keep the item you are working on shaded. Later in the day as the sun does its thing the increasing heat will cure your resin. If you used a tarp to make a shady spot, remove it and let the sun warm the work. Remember there can be a dramatic difference between the outside air temp and the temp of the surface you are working on if the sun is beating down on it.

Keep in mind the opposite is also true.. If you begin your layup in the late afternoon when the workpiece is already hot the resin will kick quickly, but cure slowly as things cool off in the evening.

It really is simple, but often overlooked!
