Groco EB Manual Head....

Rebuilt the head a few weeks ago - all wear parts replaced except for the shaft and keys for the manual pump lever and the bearings and seals for the footpedal - head operated fine afterwards.

Today the manual lever won't pump - it's making a 'clanking' sound [like metal on metal] when pumped back and forth....it's slack and in the down position and won't pump the toilet out..... seems to be disconnected from the diaphragm/yoke assembly......footpedal is letting water in ok.

Any tips as to what might be wrong from those who might know before I start dismantling to see what's going on would be appreciated!

Hope it's not too windy out fishing tomorrow meantime...
