Thanks gang. I'll see to have it powder coated. Another attachment method at this point wouldn't be prudent. I had the steering arm machined at the center for center attachment . Playing with physics here. That's the way the former stewart and the USAF had the boat set up. 5 years ago I replaced all steering componants. All Bronze arms, rod etc new bearings and a lot of Corrosion X thick. It works well. Shimmed the aux tank in last night . Like Gibralter now. Dave K
