oops.

Leaving the aluminum without a coating will corrode away. I can send you some pics of mine going bye bye.

Powder coating under the deck should be okay if you don't cut thru the coating and allow moisture in. Haven't tried.

Corrosion X, I may have to get me some of that. Damm... if the engines don't run good this year I may be able to just give it a little "X Spray".

How long would one expect the X coating to last?
