Peter,

I find that the aerosol works better than the pump bottle. However, what I tried once, is to buy an empty pump bottle with adjustable spray nozzle, then pour the CX from the original pump bottle into the new empty one. Still comes out thicker than the aerosol but much better than the CX bottle.
