Only a fire hazard if you spray it directly on an open flame..... or any other source of ignition such as a stray spark from any electrical device or some other unexpectedly hot source. Granted after the thinning agent evaps off all is OK.
CX didn't tell me they can't ship the aerosol, but if I remeber correctly they had to ship it truck since it qualifies somehow as hazerdous material. That was from CX themselves. Anyway small items shipped truck are problematic to me on an island. Lots of shipping cost for a little package and long delays. It works, but not as well as UPS or Fed Ex. Hence my question relates as to if it is worth it for me to buy the aerosol, or if it is basicly the same as what I already have.
The CRC leaves a light film on whatever I spray it on. It definately does not evaporate completely. But it isn't so heavy that it drips and goos up. Yes I could wipe down whatever I shot with CX, but often I use the CRC to fog completely around general areas like the starters and alternators. Not so easy to wipe down...
The CX gets so much good press here I know it must work. I was just curious since your reply is the first time anyone has directly made a comparison to CRC.
Thanks
