Well, the parts are NOT expensive for the DD diesels. Industrial Diesel in Ft. Worth will sell you an out-of-frame overhaul kit, all the pistons, bearings, liners, etc for a 6V92 for $1,450. You getting hosed. DD stuff is a dime a dozen. See Ind. Diesel's site for examples.
