If the bellows is rated for exhaust duty, then you can use that.
You can compromise by using the corrugated exhaust hose. A heavier wall than the bellows.

I saw your note on the tube, but I would use that instead of having something made from stainless.

On all the 31/Yanmar installs, I have used the corrugated hose to the muffler with no pipes, or connections in between.
