I am in the process of adding a Rule 4000 GPH backup pump under the cabin sole in mine right now. It has a 2" pipe. I just ordered one of the Ultra Switches for it. I also have a 2000 GPH under the cabin sole and a 2000 GPH aft bilge pump. I'm also adding a Groco safety seacock on the starboard engine. There is some concern I've heard about burning up the impeller if it runs dry, but if the boat sinks I won't have to worry about it. I figure that you can never have too many pumps. I'd add one of those Erickson shaft mounted pumps if there was room!! Rawleigh
