Earnest - You have the perfect mentor in Bill out in San Diego with a near match Hyena Boat. Go with what he says, and do the 3 blade Nibral from the get go. You can pick up bornze spares on ebay for a song. My view is that the 3 blades are better on the Hyena or the B31 vs. the 4's, as the 4's create more drag than the increased thrust. Now on bigger boats turning bigger wheels, the reverse is true.

I guess you saw the 800+ blue suit caught yesterday off Port Eads. Does a Hyena Boat have the balls to do that?
