Capt. Pat, Wax Alternatives?

Gave Windstar a thorough washdown yesterday and tomorrow will use Collonite's fiberglass cleaner just prior to what was usually a wax application with Collinite's Fleetwax. However, I remember a conversation with Capt. Pat, where he told me that wax is "old" technology. I was wondering if a glaze, sealer, or polish would be the way to go. I have bottles of McGuire's glaze and polish, I also have a bottle of Rejex, but was wondering what to apply before the Rejex. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
